“I would absolutely never stay here again or recommend to anyone I like to stay here.”

The location of the inn was great. I was extremely uncomfortable, hated the shared bathroom situation, the room and bathroom were dirty, and I hit my head on the ceiling of my room one too many times. For the cost of the room, I was extremely disappointed in the experience overall.

“A comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Martin House Inn for our first visit to Nantucket.”

David, the Innkeeper, made the Martin House Inn feel relaxed and comfortable, with a professional and friendly attitude that made us feel like special guests; his staff also kept the Inn clean and tidy. The location is ideal for accessing the town, the harbor, and bike trails, and we had a great time on our first visit to Nantucket. Nothing negative.

“One of the best places I’ve stayed at”

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, and the check‑in process was extremely smooth; the lobby area and porch were clean and provided a nice spot for breakfast or casual conversation.

The location is decent, the beds are super comfortable, and the place is spotless; coffee and homemade cookies are available all day, and breakfast includes fruit, yogurt, muffins, and croissants each morning with a Keurig for coffee and tea. However, upon arrival you walk into an entryway where your room key is left in an envelope on the stairs, lined up with everyone else’s, and no staff member greets you to explain a few things; the front door isn’t locked at night, which feels a bit odd knowing anyone could walk in and wander around the house.
