“Complete Disregard for Guest Safety”

There was no breakfast included, and dinner couldn’t be ordered because the restaurant was too busy. At 1 am the fire alarm triggered, yet nobody was on the premises; it took 20 minutes for the volunteer fire department and 15 minutes for the police to arrive. Calls and texts to the guest line went unanswered. The alarm malfunctioned, but no one knew how to contact the alarm company, showing a sloppy and unsafe environment. The lack of staff and their indifference to guests’ discomfort is unacceptable.

The view was great, the décor beautiful, the rooms spacious, and the location convenient, though we didn’t have breakfast. The only issue was hauling our luggage up the stairs, which was a minor inconvenience.

The location worked well for us, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the room had plenty of character; parking was easy. The only downside was some nighttime noise—likely from the nearby restaurant—though it stopped around 10:00 pm.
