The front desk was friendly, the rooms were very good and quiet, and breakfast was perfect. We also dined on site and the meal was excellent. Everything else was fine; there’s nothing to criticize about this place, which offers good value for money.

The building is a beautiful period structure, and the food and beer selection are outstanding. Nothing else to add.

The dinner was delicious, and there were several beer taps to enjoy. Even though the room looked old-fashioned, it felt modern and very comfortable. Breakfast came on plates with a decent portion that left me full. From the street, you go up the stairs on the right side and can wander through a lovely garden. When checking out, the staff answered questions about the area in a very friendly way. The parking seemed missing from the street, but a large lot is located deep inside. The dinner seating was arranged so that the table was in a window‑like spot, making legroom very tight and requiring you to shift the table to move in or out. The room’s historical vibe was a bit different from what I expected. There were no convenience stores nearby, so if you need anything, buy it before arriving.

The hotel is gorgeous, an amazing 13th‑century building that’s peaceful and comfortable, with staff who are truly helpful. I also liked that it’s dog‑friendly. The room was very cozy, with good TV and a selection of tea, coffee, chocolate, and lovely biscuits. The shower was great, making for a very relaxing stay. The food was superb, and we enjoyed the red wine we had too. I couldn’t find any faults.
