The Best Western Hendersonville Inn is located off Interstate 26, 15 miles from Chimney Rock Park. The hotel features an outdoor pool, on-site restaurant El Paso, and traditional rooms with 50in Smart TVs, microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee-making facilities. A business centre, tour desk, and 24-hour lobby with breakfast buffet are available. The centre of Hendersonville is 2.5 miles away, and the Carl Sandburg Home is a 15-minute drive.

It’s just an average motel at best. It sits on a main road and our room was noisy. The mattresses were uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent but the sausage patties and links were bland, the bacon was greasy, and the sausage gravy was mediocre. There was no gym and we couldn’t find any outdoor chairs. The room needed a bit of cosmetic updating.

Breakfast was okay—coffee was cold, but the cider was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable, the restaurant was great, and the location was easy to reach. All in all, a solid experience.
