Boracay Coco Huts

The hotel is very centrally located with a nice balcony right on the beach, everything was clean and tidy. It would be nice if fresh towels were brought, but otherwise it’s fine. If you’re sensitive to noise, this place isn’t for you—besides the apartments, there’s a rooftop bar and the music and bass are extremely loud, making it hard to sleep.

The place sits right in the middle of the beach and has a charming little patio that overlooks the action. I did notice that the cleaning wasn’t up to standard and some floor tiles were broken and needed fixing.

The view of the sea and the location were great, but the hotel was a bit Spartan in some aspects and not suitable for picky guests.

The staff were very friendly and the beach itself was nice. I’m not sure if new owners are involved, but a lot of repairs are needed. The water in the pools never stops leaking onto the bathroom floor, and there’s black mold on the shower curtains. Sand is everywhere, but that’s expected since it’s on the beach. We stayed in a family unit that spanned two floors with two AC units; the one on the ground floor stopped working last night and leaked water constantly until it finally shut off. It was a bit warm but we managed. The unit is next to an Army Navy burger place, and the food was okay but not great. The main front‑desk lady had no personality, and the manager was just as bland. I ate there once a day and never got a smile or a welcoming vibe from either of them. The place isn’t part of the Coco Huts network anymore, except for a 10% discount for Coco Huts guests.

The location was good, but the TV that was advertised was not working because they were upgrading it. They didn’t mention that until we asked.
