The staff were cheerful and helpful, the spot is great, and the room was quite spacious and airy. However, early on we paid 10 € per hour up to check‑in time, which felt a bit opportunistic. There is an elevator, but to reach it you have to climb half a flight of stairs, and then again half a flight to get to the room because the elevator stops in the middle of the stairs—apparently the historic building couldn’t accommodate a full‑floor elevator. With a large suitcase that would have been a big problem, but we were just carrying a backpack, so it didn’t bother us. After checking in, I left the room and came back about an hour later to find it locked; I figured the door was locked because the number of locks had increased, which was a bit unsettling, but otherwise it was very calm and safe.

The staff were genuinely friendly, the rooms were neat and super cozy with every amenity you’d need for a long weekend, and the place is less than five minutes from the main square.

The rooms were pretty and comfy, everything was super clean, and the location was spot on. The front‑desk staff were pleasant, but there were some hiccups. Snacks and water in the room weren’t clearly marked as paid items, and after opening a water bottle I realized there was supposed to be a price list and Wi‑Fi details sheet, but it wasn’t there. The reception said they’d talk to the cleaner so this wouldn’t happen again, yet they didn’t offer to waive the charge. I booked 19 rooms for a group, some directly and some through the site. One group member had to pay for items he claimed he didn’t take; he’s honest, but he still paid without much argument. When I raised the issue, they said they check everything before each guest. With a large booking like mine, I thought a bit of leniency would be fair. In short, I wouldn’t say they were unfair, but they were not flexible or customer‑friendly, and despite everything else being great, it left a bitter taste.

There was a bit of trouble getting in the evening the first time because there’s no front desk and the main entrance door didn’t open right away with the code—only on the third try. I asked for a receipt for the payment, but I still haven’t received one.
