It was very cute, centrally located, very clean, and the management was very nice – I highly recommend it.

The location was great, just a 15‑minute walk from Kiyomizu‑dera, and the room was nice, with comfortable beds and plenty of space. The soundproofing was poor; we woke up at 5:30 am from the shrine’s gong (earplugs help). For the price, a breakfast option would be nice. Overall, a nice hotel but a bit pricey for what it is.

Great to stay in a traditional style ryokan, although that came with some compromises (futons for 2 family members, no kitchen facilities). Modern bathroom, although not as big as other accommodation. Staff present and very helpful. Good location - close to bus routes, temples and Gion area, lots of places to eat nearby
