It was a problem that a retired military veteran couldn’t get a military rate, that we had to point out that with a handicap placard we shouldn’t have been charged for parking, and the snacks were extremely pricey.

Everything was excellent: the hotel was very clean, the staff were nice, and the breakfast lived up to expectations.

Thank the receptionist who greeted me warmly and let me into the room before check‑in time; I was at the end of my life.
