A great base for scenic walks and mountain hikes. The room was nice with a lovely fireplace (we were there end of October and from early November the fires were lit). We were lucky to have hotel parking. The breakfast was superb, the bed comfortable, and the shower large.

Excellent location to explore the surroundings. Beautiful house, great room, and superb breakfast—definitely recommend. No problems.

The bed was comfortable, and the room and decor were very pleasant, with two lovely ladies running the facilities; however, the room was dark and lacked natural light, the walls were thin so I could hear people moving in adjacent rooms and above, there was no one to greet guests on arrival which felt odd, the reception wasn’t manned, and for the price per night I expected a better quality breakfast with more variety of village bread instead of sliced packaged bread, lacking both presentation and variety.
