“Bon choix très confortable”

The room was very nice with a single very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom that had a shower curtain. We had access to a shared kitchen with a kettle and microwave. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The place is 700 m from the bus stop, the train station, the city centre and the beach, in a quiet neighbourhood. The hosts were very friendly at the reception. Breakfast was excellent, with two eggs, toast, coconut‑filled pancakes and a banana lassi. One suggestion: ask whether you’d prefer a lassi, fruit juice, or a fruit plate for breakfast (we’d have liked a fruit plate because the lassi was too sweet).

We had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The property was comfortable, clean, and just a 10‑minute walk to the beach and main street. It’s close to everything yet tucked away from the noise. They kindly let us stay late so we could enjoy one final swim before heading to Colombo. Highly recommend!

“Super Unterkunft”

A beautifully kept house with top‑class European‑standard amenities. Every room has a fridge, a well‑working air‑conditioner, a fan, and a mosquito net. The bathroom even includes a bidet in addition to hot water. A spotless, spacious communal kitchen with a dining table is also available. The location is wonderfully quiet, just a 10‑minute walk to the train station and the beach. Nothing to complain about.

“Great, clean property with very helpful staff.”

The place was really clean, and the staff went above and beyond to answer any questions. It’s a bit farther from the city, but you can walk easily. The only downside was that the doors were sometimes a bit hard to close.

The villa is set back from the road, far from the railway, and there’s no tourist traffic outside, so no noise at all; it’s a very quiet spot. I stayed on the second floor. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a large kitchen that serves three rooms and all the necessary cookware, plus a balcony. The hosts are responsive and try to make everything comfortable. When we checked out, they let us leave after 3 pm, so we could go to the sea, have lunch, shower, and leave calmly. Everything was good.
