The whole place smells awful. I thought I’d tolerate it for the sake of convenience, but by the second day my family said my clothes had a bad odor. It wasn’t just one room—the lobby and hallways were also stinky, and the staff seemed fully aware. They had deodorizer spray units on the walls all over the hotel. The rooms looked clean, but the odor was outrageous. No hotel should operate like this.

I liked the location. The receptionist was a very calm and respectable guy. The room was clean and good. Nothing else to note.

The hotel was very accommodating, especially since I had to have surgery in Richmond, VA, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The only downside was that there were no kitchen tools in a place that offers a full kitchen.

The location was the main reason I chose this hotel. However, there was no hair dryer in the room, and the iron was terrible—after adding water to the reservoir, the steam left rust-colored streaks on my white shirt. The flooring was dirty and the towels were stained and needed replacement. Most of the hotel smelled like cigarettes, starting with the lobby and elevator and continuing through the corridors on floors 1 and 2.
