The paint was peeling, the hallways were stained, the shower bar kept falling off the wall, and the bed was sagging in the middle—definitely needed a new mattress. The overall condition of the facilities felt pretty rundown.

The service from Mrs. Alcira was great, but the air‑conditioning could use a lot of improvement.

The place was close to Sawgrass Mall, and the security and quiet were solid. The hosts were welcoming. Everything was fine, so I have no negative comments.

The location was good, but we discovered it was just one room in someone’s house, a fact that wasn’t clear when we booked. We were three people, yet only two were allowed to stay without paying for an extra, pricey room.

The spot is great if you’re heading to the Amerant Bank Arena, but our bathroom—though private—was not in the room itself; the other three rooms apparently have en‑suite bathrooms.
