The Birches was a dream—room huge, bath massive. Spot on location, far enough from the town to be quiet but close enough to walk. The lounge was a hit; fire easy to start and sunlight streamed in during the day. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were great. We’re definitely coming back.

Kim and Mark were super friendly from the moment we booked and stayed on top of everything. The place was warm, spotless, and I couldn’t be happier. Anyone visiting the area should book here.

Breakfast was decent and the location was good, but the rooms can get noisy when other guests are around. The metal tables at breakfast were a bit cramped and noisy; a longer wooden table would make it nicer.
