For a family of four staying a few days, it’s perfect. Everything you need to eat (without cooking) is available, the bathroom is large and practical, and there’s a machine to fold clothes. The futons on the upper floor are very comfortable. The host dropped us off at the station for departure. It’s flawless. The only minor drawback is the location, but we still manage easily by bus and on foot.

Excellent! The house is typical with Japanese‑style rooms and the space is well optimized. The futons are very comfortable and the décor is great for Ghibli fans. The owner is adorable and even gave us a free ride to the station.

The proximity to the station and the cleanliness were great. The only downside is that the space is too small.

The spot was great—quiet residential area, buses get you anywhere fast, a nice park nearby and a temple just around the corner.

The apartment was super cozy, and the owner helped us all the time; when we checked out he even drove us in his own car to Kyoto station. Everything essential was there and the futons were very comfortable. It is a little far, but still worth it.
