We liked the animals and the host’s welcome. The place sits in a quiet little village surrounded by greenery. We had to cut our stay short for several reasons: the shared spaces (kitchen, bathroom, toilets) were really shared, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Being close to the other occupants of the second room meant a lack of privacy and freedom of movement. The mattress was very thin, just a sheet on a wooden board, making it hard to sleep. It would be great if the place had separate toilets and made it clear that the space is fully shared.

The area, the ability to bring a dog, and the layout of the facilities were positives. The limited space for three rooms made it feel like a game of musical chairs for the bathroom or seating area. A strong odor from the kitchen’s cooking permeated the house. The bed was extremely firm with a thin mattress and a crackling plastic undersheet. A few simple fixes—separate toilet and bathroom, better mattresses, longer ventilator lead—could improve it a lot.

“Séjour parfait et réussi dans un lieu très agréable”

The host’s kindness and discretion stood out. The host kindly let us use his garage to store our two motorcycles, making us feel right at home. The heat was a bit much, but the host didn’t do much about it.

“Un lugar tranquilo y acogedor”

The owners were very pleasant and everything was perfect; we could use the kitchen and the coffee maker, which was great! The bed pillows, however, were not very comfortable for us personally.
