Nice, old, renovated house with high walls, solid wooden ceilings, fresco remnants on one wall. The historic center is 1.5‑2 km away. The room (No. 5 under the roof) has a small, half‑openable window and is sparsely furnished. The front door could only be opened very hard. The house is overall very noisy with construction and weekday noise. The agent was present but only by phone. The mentioned “private parking” meant parking on adjacent streets. On the weekend, with a culinary festival nearby, it was very hard for us to find a spot.

I stayed in the city centre but outside the ZTL, the room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The kettle and coffee machine were provided, and checking in was self‑service but incredibly easy.

The location was great, quiet, the bed was good, and the rooms were very pretty. The house, however, was quite noisy to the touch.

The spot was strategically positioned near Ferrara’s historic highlights, offering silence both at night and early morning. I liked the outdoor smoking area, though it wasn’t accessible because the glass door was closed and no key was supplied. The bathroom was comfortable, and parking nearby was a convenience, at least during these days. The in‑room services were minimal: only coffee pods and two types of tea sachets left in the tray, no refillable water bottles, and no small fridge. There was also no nearby bar. Given the building’s historic architecture with wooden ceilings and ancient fresco fragments, a more matching, though still simple, interior design would have suited the setting.
