“Great view, nice backyard if on ground level, paid too much for booking the night before”

I was thrilled by the view and the fridge in my room, but I was really disappointed to find I had to pay 2.5 × more for a two‑bedroom suite just because I booked only a day in advance. I’m not sure if this is standard practice, but it felt unfair since Google Maps listed the room at $130, which is the default rate for a month‑ahead booking.

“Ideal for families who want to see the Niagara Falls and have a welcoming, calm inn to stay at over the night”

The hotel was incredibly child‑friendly, with a warm welcome and treats for the kids, and it was easy to heat up the noodles we brought. The children were ecstatic when the massive ships arrived. The price was great for the value—much better than the AI‑recommended large hotels in Niagara Falls.

“We love it there... spend most of our time watching the ships go through the locks from our balcony.”

The place is very clean and comfortable, and if you’re into ship watching, the location is unbeatable.

The property is well kept and the view of the canal, Lock 7 is stunning
