“Tolle Lage, aber…”
The outdoor area around the pool is newly redesigned and really nice, the location directly on the beach and on the other side the restaurant, bar and shopping street of Lido are unbeatable. The rooms are very narrow, the beds are hard, the pillows are thin like covers, and in today’s time there is only one socket at the bed. The breakfast is very monotonous; even the scrambled eggs are stretched to a maximum so that they almost become drinkable. Six days in a row the same simple selection of sausage and cheese… The whole hotel is very noisy, and because our room was above the kitchen we were hearing all the activities and cleaning work late into the evening. Even furniture rearrangements in neighboring rooms made it hard to find any peace.
“Great location”
The pool area was fantastic and so close to the beach. The staff were friendly and eager to help with anything, very approachable. There was no night‑time entertainment—nothing happening in the hotel in the evening, no music, perhaps because we stayed near the end of the season; probably more would be happening at the height of the season. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, only plastic glasses, even though they said they were not allowed in the room. Clearly, adults staying would like a drink on the balcony—that’s what holidays are for.
