A lovely spot tucked among trees, the cabins are row‑style but most offer good privacy. Kids enjoyed the trampoline, playground with a killer slide, and a play corner behind the breakfast room. The place was spotless; the cabins had been refreshed inside and are really clean. Kayaks and boats are available for a small extra fee, while billiards and ping‑pong are included. The front‑desk guy was very accommodating, but the kitchen staff seemed a bit absent. Despite several significant drawbacks, I still recommend the place. In a three‑bedroom cabin the beds were uncomfortable, every spring was felt, and the water temperature was a gamble between hot and cold on the same settings. The cabin’s space was rather tight. Meals were like those from a pricey restaurant, making them too elaborate for kids. The kids’ portions were either a mini version of the adult dish—too seasoned and fancy for children—or greasy nuggets with fries. There were no sweet desserts or pastries at breakfast or lunch. After the last August weekend the bar closed, so evenings had no extra orders and late breakfasts were unavailable; this should be noted when booking.
