Hotel Indigo Saigon the City by IHG

I absolutely loved my time at this Saigon hotel; the spot is spot-on for city hopping and tourist spots, and the breakfast was a treat. The staff, especially the front desk folks, were warm and professional, and when I ran into a bad experience at a local restaurant and got ripped off, they genuinely listened and did everything they could to help, which meant a lot. Big shout‑out to Johnny for his kindness. All the staff made the stay memorable, and I’d recommend this place to anyone coming to Saigon.

“Lovely Hotel with an Amazing Breakfast!”

Breakfast was superb, served on the mezzanine above the lobby in The Shipyard, with a fantastic spread and friendly staff. The location was great and the rooms were quiet. The only downside was that the bar next to the lobby looked pretty dull.

The reception was smooth, the room was clean and the bedding comfortable. The checkout was a bit more complicated than expected; the staff seemed overwhelmed, and no one held the door for us when we were heavily loaded, despite asking for help. We’ve stayed at several Ho Chi Minh hotels and were disappointed here, which was the most expensive and didn’t fully meet our expectations. The customer experience should carry through to the end, not just the arrival, and it’s a shame that’s the last thing we’ll remember.

“It is a relaxing place to come back to in this chaotic city.”

I loved the pool and the fitness center, and the staff were all very hospitable. The front desk manager was especially nice, offering us a late check‑out so we could catch our 8 PM train. I’d definitely want to return.

“Very good choice of hotel for short break in city - with excellent staff”

The location is good and the staff excellent, but the room wasn’t as clean as I’d expect from a 5‑star property—though it wasn’t terrible.
