Hotel Engel Alberschwende features a ski storage room with boot dryer, sauna, and steam cabin. Rooms have flat-screen TVs and bathrooms with bathtubs or showers; some have balconies. A breakfast buffet and dinner are served on site. The hotel offers free parking, and is close to a supermarket and Alberschwende centre. A Bregenzerwald Guest Card is included for stays over 3 nights.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel has charm, feels cozy and clean. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The location is about 15 minutes by car from Bregenz or the highway—more than enough and acceptable. Everything is good!

The breakfast was very generous and truly tasty, surpassing our expectations, but the room furnishings feel a bit dated and didn't match our taste.

The staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast is extensive and good; nothing was missing and it was always refilled on time. The wide cheese selection, pastries, cakes, and especially the Bircher Müsli were highlights, not to mention the ample parking right at the hotel. Using the Bregenzer Wald Guest Card makes the bus stop right in front of the hotel convenient. We didn’t use the wellness area, but we can definitely recommend the house. A stool in the bathroom would be nice, and a few flowers or plants in the balcony planters would be lovely.
