The welcome was warm and professional, the rooms and common areas were furnished in an exotic style, and the value for money was very good.

I went to Kochi for a solo birthday trip and chose Sarada Mandiram. It looks vintage, cosy, and gives off Portuguese vibes; the wood doors and detailed interiors made the stay feel like a trip back in time. Upstairs there was a downstairs‑style café for coffee and pastries, which was a bonus. The staff and room service were very prompt. The location is great for visiting Fort Kochi, with nice fish restaurants nearby and the station very close. I would add that the hotel could improve its service: room service didn't clean the room daily, and I would have liked fresh bedsheets or a change of coffee cups with a restock of tea, coffee, and toiletries. One morning breakfast was unavailable, so checking on those services would be beneficial.
