“Good location. Clean. Great value for money.”

The staff spoke English and were very helpful; the hotel’s location is close to the lake and a lot of good shops and restaurants; the rooms were clean; when we asked for a room change because of construction noise, they obliged. On the downside, there was construction noise coming from the street-facing rooms, a small lizard appeared in the second room (the staff removed it right away), and the vegetarian breakfast options were limited.

“Amazing! Just do it.”

I loved Joy—she was the best staff member, the workers were great, the food and breakfast were excellent, and we enjoyed the view; thanks for arranging an amazing tour at Ha Long Bay, it was far better than a dull Airbnb. The location was nice, but for clean freaks remember you’re in Hanoi, not Singapore, so expect some outside craziness lol! It’s a beautiful part of the city; I liked being near the lake and the old quarter, but not inside it, and it was quiet enough for perfect sleep.
