The host was reachable, professional, and empathetic, and the place matched the photos exactly—no surprises. Everything was clean, all appliances worked, and security made us feel safe. We left a set of keys behind; the next day I told him, and Nongalo arranged a courier that same day, which was a relief. Whenever I’m in Empangeni for a weekend, this is where I’ll stay again. I loved everything about our stay.

The staff went above and beyond, the place was very clean, and everyone did everything they could to make our stay the best.

The bed was comfortable and the room spotless, and we could use the shared kitchen, but checking in was a hassle – we didn’t hear back until two hours after arriving, and the host seemed unprepared and quite drunk, though he kept apologising and tried to help.
