Amenities include an outdoor pool with hot tub, gym, and business centre. Rooms feature free WiFi, cable TV, refrigerator, coffee machine, and work desk, with select rooms offering a sofa bed.

The hotel was quiet, charming, and clean, with a snug feel, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel’s close to Del Mar st downtown and within walking distance of Lor’s, restaurants, Starbucks, and other coffee shops, but the weather was very warm and the AC barely kept up.

The location was excellent for Avenue del Mar, a 15‑20 minute walk to the beach, and a trolley stop just one block away; the room was good‑sized with a lovely little balcony useful for drying wet beach gear, and the staff were excellent. However, I had to sign out pool towels, there were many broken pool loungers, the water wasn’t the clearest, the freeway was adjacent so the room facing the sea was very loud at times, there was no breakfast which is disappointing for the price, and they’re about to add an extra fee for parking.

The place is well‑located, but they left a used coffee k‑cup in the coffee maker, which made me question how clean they were.
