I was close enough to walk from the train station, which was convenient after a long travel day. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift only went to the second, so my 71‑year‑old friend and I (69) had to haul our suitcases up the last level. No staff helped. Ask for a second‑floor room if carrying bags up and down stairs is an issue.

During my stay a city‑wide water issue meant we couldn’t use the toilet or shower from midnight until 10 AM when we left. The property has no water storage, but despite this unexpected situation everything else was great. I’d gladly come back and highly recommend the place.

There’s no concierge after 1 PM, so at night you’re on your own. To reach your room you have to open three doors with keys: the main gate of the building, the door to the property (it feels more like an apartment), and then your room door. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll enjoy the place. The shower is a bit tight, and responses to questions can be slow.
