The host was a lovely lady

A lovely lady runs the place and goes above and beyond for guests. Free water and snacks are available at reception, and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The location is amazing, just off the front.

There’s no breakfast, but plenty of nearby options. We were greeted warmly and shown to our rooms with no hassle; just ask if you need anything. Some rooms still need a little updating, but from the other room we saw it was nicely done, so don’t miss it. We’d definitely stay again.

The property is spotless—no dust at all—and has everything you need for a short stay. The lady who greeted us was lovely, always smiling, checking in, and even gave my son sweets. In the lounge, water, crisps, biscuits, and tea, coffee, sugar, and milk were readily available. The only downside is the mix of modern and old style; the smart access and heavy, high doors feel odd, and a full‑size person might struggle to fit in the bed or bathroom. The constant surveillance gives peace of mind but feels a bit over the top, and the blend of modern and old is just weird.
