The room had a lovely, characterful feel, was super clean, and the staff were friendly. The views from the room and at breakfast were spectacular. Breakfast was astonishingly good, with homemade cakes, pastries, jam, and a sandwich to take for lunch. I also booked a local restaurant that was superb and offered great value. It felt like an authentic break from 5‑star luxury.
