I asked for a mattress check and discovered a swarm of bugs on the bed the night before, which left my skin itchy and red. I had checked in at 8 pm, but by 3 am I was forced to leave because I couldn’t tolerate it any longer, and I told the hotel to make sure housekeeping cleans properly.

The location was perfect for bus travelers, but the TV remote didn’t work and staff should check it before guests arrive; it was fine for me because I don’t watch TV much.
