I had a balcony with a sea view, yet I couldn’t enjoy it because guests below kept smoking on the balcony; I hate cigarette smoke. I paid the extra fee for the sea‑view balcony, but there were 2020 Corona posters with alarm tones in the room. When I asked an employee to remove them because the pandemic rules were no longer valid, he replied that Corona isn’t over. The staff were sometimes helpful, sometimes indifferent. On Sunday there was no bus to the next town with a train station, even though the timetable didn’t list it, so I had to take a taxi for €63. The staff didn’t bother to call a taxi for me; I had to arrange it myself.

The location was great, about 100 m to the city centre or a nice beach, the family‑friendly atmosphere and very friendly owners, good breakfast with rolls and good breads, parking behind the building, daily room cleaning during breakfast, and the somewhat old house will be extensively renovated from November and expanded with a restaurant and terrace; my family and grandchild felt very comfortable and would gladly return. The side rooms only offered a view of the always busy street to the beach, and the guests in the adjacent rooms had to look over our “balcony”; the otherwise good bathroom was small and cramped, so you couldn’t sit straight on the toilet, and there were glass blocks instead of windows behind the bed; this should improve with the upcoming renovation. A new hotel is being built opposite and soon behind it towards the beach.

The breakfast was spot-on, and the staff were very friendly. The parking spots, however, are extremely narrow, which makes parking a real hassle.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was sufficient and tasty. The location near the promenade is excellent. The only downside is the current construction site across from the hotel.
