Yerevan In Boutique Hotel

They let me check in with pets, but the photos were misleading. The room was dirty, with a year’s worth of dust under the bed. The shower curtain stuck to my body and the water pressure kept changing, making it impossible to shower. The sink was clogged, so washing my face in the morning was a quest. The single small AC wasn’t enough, so it was stuffy even at night. My room was on the top floor. The description said it had a balcony, but the balcony actually opened into the hotel interior, the whole roof was glass‑covered, creating a greenhouse effect and making the balcony useless. I paid 280,000 drams for 10 days, and it was not worth it.

The location was good, and the room and bathroom looked fresh after the renovation. However, the towels and bedding were not up to standard and needed to be replaced. During our stay, they were working on connecting water to the building, but we were not informed about the water cut. The hotel has a different name on Booking.

The hotel’s name on Booking is completely different from its real name, “old Yerevan hotel.” Towels were always dirty, the room was filthy, and asking for cleaning was a constant struggle; if we didn’t specifically request the bathroom cleaned, it stayed unclean. Even after cleaning, the room remained dirty because they didn’t have a vacuum, the bedspread was dirty, the fridge was dirty, the faucet was wobbly, and water took a long time to drain into the sink. On arrival day, they called to say they couldn’t accommodate us that night due to construction work and didn’t offer an alternative, leaving us stranded. Stay away from this place!

“SUPER”

The staff were super friendly, especially the manager Sargis, who was very helpful and made us feel right at home in Yerevan. The room was beautiful, newly renovated, as shown in the photos. Everything else was fine.

The hotel is very well located. My wife and I stayed from 15.06 to 25.06.26. It takes about 30 minutes on foot to reach the center, but the hotel is also away from the traffic, which we liked. Thanks to the staff for always being present, smiling, and friendly. The room was cleaned well. Internet and air conditioning worked without issues. The room was large and bright. It was a bit annoying that there was no view from the room; a wall of another building was only two meters away, and construction was still going on, but it didn’t bother us much since we only stayed overnight. A curtain in the shower would have helped, as splashes flew all over the bathroom.
