Windsor Retreat Private Basement Suite

“Great value and great location”

The spot was perfect and there was a pool, which was a big plus. Even though it was tucked into a basement, moving in and out felt completely natural. The owners kept me in the loop well, and they’re already on top of fixing the broken sink handle.

The hosts went above and beyond to ensure every comfort was covered—any question or need was met instantly. The bed was super comfy with plenty of extra pillows, and there were extra towels, blankets, and all the essentials. When I arrived, the host was heading out to eat with his family and offered me a plate of his mom’s cooking, which was amazing; he repeated the gesture the next day. No complaints at all.

“A great location, great value. Caring hosts!”

The place is in a great spot, and the hosts gave us plenty of personal attention and space. However, there was no true kitchenette—no mini stove, though they kindly gave us a toaster when we asked. Also, we couldn’t adjust the AC ourselves.

“Our stay in Windsor was a great relaxing vacation for us in Denver.”

The location worked out nicely for our vacation, and the apartment had everything we needed. The only downside was having to walk through the owners’ living room just to reach the basement apartment.
