The view was definitely a highlight, and this was my third time staying here. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken and they didn’t replace it, and the waffle machine also had a problem—something I used to love for breakfast.

The proximity to the ferries is great and the scenery, including local deer, is beautiful. However, the rooms are noisy from neighboring rooms; you can hear people moving all night. There was also a lot of hair in the bathroom from previous guests, which made it hard to trust the cleanliness.

The complex is charming, with lots of little rows of cute cottages that are fully equipped with kitchens; the cleaning isn’t the best, but the wonderful setting and complimentary breakfast more than make up for it.

The free breakfast was just okay—self‑serve and limited, like the bare essentials you’d expect from a complimentary spread. The only highlight was the sea view from the room, which was genuinely beautiful. However, the room felt dusty and there was something in the air that made me itchy and allergic all night, making it hard to sleep; it seemed they had sprayed fabric or an air freshener. The bathroom lacked grab bars, so showering felt risky. They also didn’t provide Kleenex, which felt like a cost‑cutting move. When I booked a two‑queen‑bed room for $211.00, the hotel gave me a single queen; asking for a second queen cost an extra $40.00, bringing the total to $269.50, and the front‑desk staff didn’t explain this clearly. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
