The facilities were new and clean, but having to set the sheets and pillowcases myself was a real hassle; I just wanted someone to show me how in a simple way.

The first floor had a izakaya, which made meals convenient, and there was nothing else to complain about.

The location is great, and the food at the attached restaurant comes with a 10 % discount for hostel guests. Each pod in the 12‑bed room was comfortable and free of noise from upper to lower bunks, with plenty of luggage space. However, the arrangement is awkward: on our floor there was no women’s bathroom, so you had to go up or down a floor, and then down two more floors to reach the communal floor where the women’s showers are. This made it uncomfortable because you couldn’t just roll out of bed and head straight to the bathroom. The mattress and bed were also hard. Additionally, my little pod wasn’t very clean, and the bathroom wasn’t clean either, though it was more wear and tear than outright messiness.
