I booked this room for 5 adults, but when we arrived the hotel couldn’t add a cot, so I had to book other rooms last minute elsewhere.

“Staff was outstanding, but the property is old and needs a long overdue face lift. Badly.”

The staff were professional, friendly, and did what they could to help me. When I opened my door it smelled like a dumpster; it was Balloon Fiesta week, sold out, and there was no other option under $500 a night. I asked the front desk for a Lysol spray or something to freshen up, got a Febreze cinnamon apple spray, sprayed the A/C unit, bedroom, and bathroom, and then took it back to the front desk. It wasn’t the best smell, but better than a dumpster. The safe didn’t work, the tub paint was chipped, only a trickle of water came from the sink faucet, and the sheer curtains on the window were yellow and dirty. The staff were still professional and friendly and helped me cope with my disappointments. Note to management: I expected the Wyndham name to be a bonus, but it wasn’t. In my opinion, a businesswoman with 30+ years of experience and a small investment could turn this mediocre property into a competitor‑challenging one.

“Easy procedure. Gave price a neutral because the rates were up for the balloon fiesta everywhere.”

The bed was comfortable, they served breakfast at 4:30 am for Balloon Fiesta, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room faced the road, so we could hear traffic, but it quieted down at night.

Close to the highway and the staff was very helpful, but I had trouble locking the ground‑floor window.

“Should have been better.”

The spot was great, and I always book with Wyndham. But when I got there there was no water, the ice maker was broken, and the hot tub didn’t work. I had to go back because an arrest was happening outside. The key kept falling out of the lock, and other guests mentioned the same issue. Valerie at the front desk scolded me for how I returned the key.
