“One of the best places ever 💙”
Everything about the stay was wonderful. Geoff, the owner, is a relaxed yet highly attentive host who did everything for us—arranging taxis to the wedding, offering to escort us, and letting us park our 33‑year‑old car in his private space. He’s a jolly, lovely man! The rooms were extremely comfortable, with heavenly beds and pillows, and the quietest air conditioner I’ve ever heard. The breakfast was lovely, with extra French bread for my husband who loves it. The location was perfect, and the clocks Geoff lovingly makes and repairs were fascinating to see and hear. A truly perfect stay—thank you.

The breakfast was wonderful, and there was nothing negative to note.

The continental breakfast was lovely—fruit, yoghurt, croissant, bread, jam, orange juice—and the kitchen area was well equipped with a coffee machine, tea facilities, a fridge, a small hot plate, and cooking gear if you wanted to prepare meals, though we didn’t. Everything else was perfect.

There was nothing to write about. The host seemed exhausted from running the place.

The breakfast was excellent, the décor was beautiful and sophisticated, and the reception was warm. The only downside was the lack of air‑conditioning in the rooms when it got hot.
