The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated, and the spot was handy, especially for catching the early‑morning ferry. However, the single room looked very old‑fashioned compared to the photos; I booked the cheapest category, yet it definitely needs upgrades. Finding the room felt like wandering through a maze of tight hallways. The bathroom was especially uncomfortable: the sink sat directly in front of the toilet, making it hard to sit properly. The shower curtain seemed unclean, and the floor had visible stains. Separate hot and cold taps on the sink added inconvenience. I had to leave before 7 am for the ferry, so I missed breakfast and even a coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay: a lovely sea view, spacious and comfortable room with great vistas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and the location was fantastic for public transport. Everything was perfect.

The location was excellent, and the premier sea‑view room was lovely. Staff were friendly, efficient, and the food choices were excellent. It was well situated for reaching the electric tram, steam trains, and the bus station, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. There was nothing to dislike.
