The room itself was gorgeous—clean, stylish, and you could see kangaroos hopping around outside. But the place is pretty far out, and getting in is a hassle: the road is steep and narrow, so parking is fine by day but a nightmare at night. Also, there were a bunch of little bugs in the room.

Quiet spot, hosts were great and the place felt like home. The only downside was the bed—way too hard and a bit small. Everything else was solid.

The cottage is a lovely escape with great design, amazing views, and roos right at your doorstep. We knew there was no Wi‑Fi ahead of time, but the lack of real contact was a bit odd—communication only through the booking chat and the hosts never showed up, so we had to knock on their door when we needed something. Still, if you prefer a self‑contained stay, it’s a great spot.

The mudbrick house kept cool even during three 37‑degree days, and the design and appliances were great. The bed was comfy, the amenities were great, and the high‑altitude view was stunning—clear sky and stars on the first night. The only thing missing was a small cleaning cloth for the countertops and stove, and a recycling bin.
