The property is old but very clean and well maintained, and the bed is comfortable. The stairs to the top floor are very narrow; it was fine for us but would not recommend for people with mobility problems.

The room was excellent. Aside from the fact that a double room only had two chairs, I wondered how young people would know how to flush the toilet. Certainly there are many staircases. The fact that there was no food option, mainly breakfast, was a drawback.

Breakfast was not available at the location. The television could be upgraded; it’s quite small, and the room is very big.

The room was spacious. Check‑in was awful: we walked into a bar that was packed with people. The staff didn’t know what they were doing and couldn’t tell us when the live music would stop. Then people accessed the outdoor areas until late. When we contacted the pub directly, they replied that they are a pub; in our opinion they should notify guests (especially families) if there is going to be live music directly below your room and the room overlooks a communal garden. I would definitely not recommend staying on a Saturday night if you want a good night’s sleep. It’s perfect for people who want a pub with a room.
