The holiday was almost perfect: the staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was superb, and the surroundings were simply fantastic. It would have been nice if at least one window had an insect screen; we already got bitten by several mosquitoes.

“Perfekt”

The staff were unbelievably friendly, greeting me right at the front desk and even helping with my bags. They also gave me a few solid tips about the nearby sights, which made the short stay feel a lot more welcoming.

They slipped my special food request into the menu without any fuss, and the lake’s outdoor pool was free to use. Getting around was easy thanks to the local hiking bus that links up with public transport, and the overall price‑for‑value was solid.

“Wij komen graag terug!”

The place was spotless, the meals were delicious and the lake was only a ten‑minute walk away, which suited us perfectly since we like a small, quiet setting. The front‑of‑house lady was incredibly friendly, the cleaners kept everything tidy, and the chef served up fantastic dishes, though we did wish there’d been an evening lounge and daytime coffee/tea service. The fridge stocked cold drinks was a lifesaver after a long hike, but remember that drinks are only covered if you have breakfast.
