It didn’t impress me. I wouldn’t recommend visiting Mariano Lagunare outside of the summer season. Clean, just like anywhere else in Italy.

I was happy with the spot close to the city centre, but the balcony door in room 3 had a stuck insect‑trap and the double‑wing folding metal door was loose, so it couldn’t be used. The room also lacked hooks for coats and jackets.

The location and soundproofing were good, but there was no air conditioning and the room got very hot, forcing me to open the windows despite the traffic noise. The bed was comfortable, yet the sheets were stiff and irritating.

Check‑in and check‑out were easy, the place was convenient, and parking was available. The bathroom faucets could use some maintenance.
