The location was excellent right in the heart of Parcului Natural Calimani.

The host was very friendly and greeted us with a great nalewka and homemade cake. The atmosphere felt as pleasant as a mountain hut. The kitchen was well equipped. A great base for mountain trips. Nothing was wrong.

The Guesthouse sits very close to the walking trails, beside a burbling stream. The host is enthusiastic about the area and shares information generously. She is a wonderful cook and serves huge meals that satisfy mountain walkers. The wifi was weak, and because the valley lacks data connections you can’t use your phone instead. There’s no public transport, and a taxi from Vatra Dornei cost 85 lei.

The guesthouse was very cozy. The hosts were very friendly and caring. The internet was good, and the hot shower was nice. It was very quiet and peaceful.
