“Excelente experiencia rural a las puertas de Montevideo”

The place, the animal park, is a fantastic experience. It’s very well located for easy access to Montevideo, yet not in the city center. Because it’s a cabin, it could have a few more everyday comforts or items, but the owners tried to fix that. There was a bit of a lack of cleaning, but the price/value ratio compensates for it.

“Simples, segura, econômica, rústica, tranquila.”

There’s a wood‑fire stove with plenty of firewood, hot water everywhere, and a quiet, private, and secure environment for you, your family, and your car. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils for stove cooking, and there’s a washing machine. The price is among the best in Montevideo. Around the house you’ll find several well‑behaved animals: two donkeys, some sheep, a cat, dogs, a few roosters and hens, and horses outside the first gate that you can walk with. They’re all very calm. In winter the house gets cold and damp, so keeping the fire going is essential (but there’s plenty of wood), and the stove in the center warms it well. There’s no TV, air‑conditioning, or microwave, but the stove and oven are good. Wi‑Fi works. That’s the whole idea, and the price covers it.
