This budget‑friendly spot works well for a single night when you’re passing through Flagstaff; just head north toward the Canyon and Page or south toward Sedona and Phoenix. Flagstaff itself is in a perfect spot. The front‑desk guy was very nice and we had a great chat. I don’t think there was any downside.

The room was spotless—clean sheets, towels, and everything—so it hit the minimalist mark. There were no extras. The windows were single‑pane and didn’t slide open easily; the tracks needed a good cleaning. The shower lacked a shelf for shampoo, razor, and other toiletries.
