I stayed at a hotel with its own beach and beach chairs, and the bed was really good. The room was lovely and had the most beautiful view, but you can’t use the pool or the beach unless you pay after you’ve checked out, and they don’t charge €20 per person for two hours.

The surroundings are lovely with a beautiful sea view, and the public areas like the lobby and corridors look tidy and well kept; dinner at the restaurant was tasty and well presented. Communication was poor, the rooms felt dated and many things were broken (fridge, shower), and although paid parking is available you have to call someone to open the gate, which can leave you waiting about 10 minutes. The terrace and the room shown in the photos didn’t match reality – the photo showed a sofa in the room and lounge chairs on the terrace, but neither were present.

The front desk staff were attentive and helpful, and we had direct access to the sea. However, the Wi‑Fi in the room was very unstable and kept dropping, so we had to move to the reception to use it properly. The towel dryer was off when we arrived and we had to ask the reception to turn it on. Parking was inconvenient because the gate didn’t open automatically and we had to wait for someone from the hotel to open it, and that person wasn’t very patient. The television was not working when we got there because the power cable was unplugged behind it; we had to plug it in ourselves. The sink was poorly designed, with no space to put toiletries, and there was no door stop on the bathroom door, which was awkward. We were disturbed by noisy construction during our stay without prior notice. I slipped on damaged tiles in the pool area, hurting my foot on a broken tile, which is a serious safety concern.
