10 m² · 1 double bed
“Staff is really unprofessional and made the stay really unpleasant”
The free parking spot in the yard was fine and the room was pretty quiet, but otherwise nothing special. The staff was extremely unprofessional and seemed angry when I asked questions; the receptionist asked me to pay on the spot and, after seeing the booking order in euros, she only tipped the amount in Czech crowns and almost made me pay about 10 euros more. After I explained this and showed her the Czech crown to euro conversion, she entered the correct amount into the system but appeared annoyed by my attempt to correct her mistake, so I did not pay the extra money. When I inserted my card into the system and was asked whether I wanted to pay a conversion tax from euros to CZK, she clicked yes without asking me, which she cannot do, so I had to pay 5 euros more. Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant experience. Also, the room advertised as a double bed was actually two single beds put together, the towels smelled weird, the heating was weak, and the water glasses in the room were unclean. I understand this was the cheapest last‑minute option for a room in Opava, but I do not recommend staying here; you will likely get a better stay paying a few euros more elsewhere.
Parking is available. The surroundings of the pension are quite messy, the facilities are old but clean. The restaurant only offers frozen pizza and does not accept card payments. There is significant noise from neighboring rooms.
“Katastrofe .... nie wieder !!!”
The bed was on an old mattress with broken springs, the bathroom still had water in the glass from previous guests, the shower head was poorly mounted, and the enclosure was hard to open—total disaster.
The location is pleasant in a quiet part of Opava, and the breakfast is simple.
“nejhoší ubytování v letošní roce,”
Cleanliness: dust, cobwebs; TV remote controls do not work; there is not even one drinking glass in the room; the bathroom has only a shower and toilet, and the towels smell bad.
