The location is good, but the hotel was closed due to a holiday. Using a key box from the neighboring inn, we got access. The room smelled strongly of smoke. The neighboring hotel claimed water damage. Additionally, the mattresses were bad. The shower head had to be held; it wasn’t fixed to the wall. There was hot water but only a small stream. Breakfast at the neighbors was fine.

Bikes can be stored in a weather‑proof, secure spot with charging available, plus a repair station stocked with essential tools; the kitchen is excellent and breakfast is very good.

Wir waren rund um zufrieden. Wir haben auf unserer Fahrradtour im Hotel Hirschen eine Nacht verbracht. Das Essen im Gasthof Hirschen war super fein. Das Frühstück war top. Danke, wir kommen wieder

Our room was outdated, the shower had mold and the bedroom smelled musty; everything else, except the breakfast which was fine, was lacking.
