“Tranquilidad, vistas al mar y desayunos estupendos”

We really liked the location, right next to the Ponta do Sol port and facing the sea. Our room offered beautiful views and at night we heard only the waves, no other noise. The area is very quiet and we slept very well; the room fan helped keep a pleasant temperature. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. The breakfast was very good, especially the natural juices, which were superb. Overall a very pleasant stay. Nothing particularly negative to highlight, though a small renovation or refresh would improve things; some details show wear. A quick facelift would add a lot, because the location, views, and tranquility are fantastic.

“Espaço fantástico, familiar e acolhedor.”

The place impressed us with a very family‑like and welcoming atmosphere. The space was clean, and one detail I appreciated was that the toilet paper was repeatedly provided in its original plastic packaging, showing care for hygiene. The staff were very helpful and gave great advice – they offer rental services at fair prices. Breakfast was wonderful and made on the spot for guests on a very quiet rooftop with a nice sea view. The only thing we missed was air‑conditioning in the room; the fan was insufficient and it got very hot.

The location is good and the sea views are nice, and breakfast is varied. Communication with the owner was almost non‑existent; she only spoke Portuguese and Creole and made no effort to understand us. She would often ask what we were doing that day and try to offer taxi services that were much more expensive than local options, which was uncomfortable. The room was far worse than the photos showed, with large cracks near the wardrobe, a broken lamp, and a rusted bathtub. In summer it gets very hot and humid; there is only one fan, which is noisy, making it hard to rest comfortably. We also had a payment issue because the amount shown in the Booking app didn’t match what they asked for. The accommodation offered no help, so we had to pay the amount they demanded and file a complaint after we returned home. They insisted on payment before check‑out while we were still trying to resolve the discrepancy. In short, the price is too high for the quality, condition, and services provided.
