It’s very close to Karatsu Castle, the staff were friendly, and there are parking spots right next to the hotel, but the room was a bit noisy.

The breakfast was delicious, but the parking lot was located across the road.

The location is obvious – just over Maizuru Bridge – and the river view from the room windows is gorgeous at both sunset and sunrise.

It’s great for a one‑ or two‑night stop; the hotel has free parking right across, a dining room, and an onsen, and the staff were very friendly and gave us a welcome drink. The walls were thin, but that didn’t bother us.
