The owners are kind, and the pool is great. The weekend was too short – it was so good we would have stayed one more day.

We arrived with our 10‑month‑old baby, which we had mentioned beforehand, and a couple of friends. The reception was cold and we immediately felt like a nuisance, even though the baby behaved well and didn’t cry. Breakfast ran from 8:30 to 9:30, and if you’re not there by 9:30 the housekeeper will rush you. When we asked for activity suggestions in the area, we got nothing, while the couple next door—a young retiree—received full explanations. At check‑in the lady asked when we planned to leave; we told her our schedule and she added that if we wanted to use the pool on Sunday we could stay until 11 h. At 10:30 h on Sunday she told us to leave quickly because “I’m hosting family at noon.” With such an attitude it’s hard to see why this is a bed‑and‑breakfast, or maybe they only want retirees. Otherwise the accommodation matches the description and the location is nice.

The kitchen is fantastic, with plenty of food on site so you don’t have to hunt for a restaurant. The pool is available. Breakfast is superb, featuring four types of bread and homemade jams. Nothing negative.
